SEM Haven has recently embarked on a significant construction project that will enhance our community and facilities.

The project will encompass several phases that focus on the renovation of McCormick Landing (a long term care household) and the expansion of both Kugler Woods and Hickory Cottage (two of our assisted living households). The renovation and expansion are part of our ongoing commitment to providing the best possible care and accommodations to our residents.

More specifically, five apartments will be added to Kugler Woods (2-one bedroom apartments and 3 studio apartments).  Hickory Cottage will gain six studio apartments. Lastly, McCormick Landing renovations will result in all private rooms that include private bathrooms with showers. A total of 16 newly updated private rooms will be available upon completion. This project will be completed in phases throughout 2024, with a tentative completion date in November, pending any delays due to weather/supply availability, etc.

Our dedicated team will work diligently to keep our Elders, their families and our staff informed about the project, progress and any potential changes in surroundings. SEM Haven is committed to maintaining the highest standards of safety and security throughout the construction phase.
